How do I setup the showing notification emails in SUPRA?

Follow the instructions below to enable the showing notification emails inside your SUPRA account in order for Showing Suite to submit feedback requests once a showing agent shows one of your properties:

You will want to first create a new Gmail account to receive the showing notifications that SUPRA will be sending. These notifications can then be automatically forwarded to ShowingSuite.com so that we can sync the showing activity. SUPRA wants you to have a unique email address for you to send your showing information to and that is why we highly recommend you set up a free email account with Gmail.

Please click here to setup a new Gmail account. If you are currently using Gmail, you will not need to create a new account and can set up your current account to forward alerts to ShowingSuite.com. Please follow the steps below to set up a mail rule for your new or existing Gmail account.

IMPORTANT: Gmail does not allow you to forward emails to any email address until you verify that you have permission to forward emails. Please follow the steps below to verify you can forward emails to us before attempting to setup a Gmail filter.

To verify that you can forward emails to us:

  • Login to your Gmail account.
  • Click Mail Settings in the top right corner of the page (the gear icon)
  • Select the Forwarding and POP/IMAP option
  • Press the Add a forwarding address button.
  • Enter lockbox@showingsuite.com and press Next.

A confirmation code will be sent to us at lockbox@showingsuite.com. We will click the link inside the verification email in order to allow you to forward emails to us and notify you via email. Please allow 1-2 business days to verify your email address. Once you have been verified you can follow the steps below to setup a filter.

To setup a brand new filter:

Note: You can only follow these steps AFTER you have been verified.

  • Login to your Gmail account
  • Click Mail Settings in the top right corner of the page (the gear icon)
  • Select the Filters option
  • Click Create a new filter (small blue link under the Filters tab).
  • Enter "ShowingValue.UnmonitoredMailbox@fs.utc.com into the From: field.
  • Click the Create filter with this search>> button.
  • Check the box to forward email to "lockbox@showingsuite.com"
  • If you'd like to apply this filter to messages already in Gmail, select the Also apply a filter to x conversations below the checkbox.
  • Click Create Filter.
  • Please note: When you create a filter to forward messages, only new messages will be affected. Any existing messages that the filter applies to will not be forwarded.

To create a filter from an existing Supra notification email in your inbox::

  • Open the showing notification email from Supra
  • Click the drop-down menu next to Reply.
  • Select Filter messages like this.
  • Enter your filter criteria in the appropriate field(s).
  • Save your changes.

What if I don't use Gmail?

If you do not use Gmail, you could create a Gmail account for free to help set up this mail rule. If you are creating a new Gmail account we recommend using a combination of your name and numbers like "smith487@gmail.com".

If you need any help with this process please send an email to support@showingtime.com. Our support staff can then create and setup the email account for you. We will then provide you with the email address you will need to add in your Supra account.

Once you have setup your Gmail account, please follow the steps below to complete the process.

  1. Login to your SUPRA account: SupraKim
  2. Select Settings.
  3. Under Settings click General Email.
  4. Under Showing Emails:
    1. Check the Send me an email when another agent shows my listings. option. If you currently use Gmail, you will not need to follow the step to add a CC address.
    2. Add the new Gmail address under Also send a copy to (CC:)
  5. Press Save at the bottom of the page.
  6. Now the showing notification emails are enabled for SUPRA. Be sure to enter all of the KeyBox#'s for your listings inside Showing Suite!
