I’m only getting emails for showing confirmations. How do I enable phone call and/or SMS (text) confirmations?

In order for Showing Robot to call or send text messages, make sure that Showing Robot is set up to contact you by phone or SMS and that you have enabled Showing Robot to do so. In order to enable texts and calls from Showing Robot, log into your Showing Suite account and follow these steps:

  • Select the “Settings” link in the upper right corner of your account
  • Place your cursor on the black View/Edit button and select “View/Edit Showing Robot Settings”
  • In the Showing Robot Settings, ensure that under “Showing Robot Contact Preferences” is a valid phone number. Make sure that after entering a valid phone number, you approve Showing Robot to call you or send SMS text messages.

Make sure to also check on the listing that is specifically not contacting you correctly to check that the Contact Preferences are set to give you a phone call or text. You can do this by going to the Showing Robot settings for that specific listing which is found under the Listing Actions option for that Listing.
