How do I manually add my listing into Showing Suite?

Entering your listings into Showing Suite is easy (although it can be time-consuming if you have a lot of listings). The number of steps vary according to your plan and available features, but you only have to enter the listing once!

If you would rather have the system import your listings directly from your MLS then we strongly recommend that you subscribe to a plan with Listing Sync included and set it up.

To manually enter a listing, first click Listings on the top navigation and click the orange Add Listing button.

  1. View/Edit Seller Details: Enter the listing's seller details...
    • Seller Login Details
    • Enter a username and password for your seller. The login information is what your seller will use to login to their private console to view feedback, upcoming showings, important documents you've uploaded, and more (options vary depending on your plan).

    • Note when selecting a username.
      • The username must be unique and cannot contain any special characters.
      • If you receive an error stating that the username exists try adding a number at the end as someone else in our Showing Suite system has already selected that username.
      • We do suggest that if your seller has only one property to use a unique marker for their user name, such as their listing address (eg. 123AnywhereAve), as it is likely that that username will not exist yet.

    • Seller Information
      • Select whether the listing is bank owned
      • Seller's first name
      • Seller's last name
      • Seller's email address
      • Seller's home phone number
      • Seller's mobile phone number
      • Check whether you want to send the seller a welcome email with their new login information.
    • Seller Communication
      • Select whether the seller can send feedback requests
      • Select if you want the seller to be notified via email when new feedback is received.
      • Select if you would like to send a non-response email to the seller.
      • Select if you would like to send a non-response email to yourself as the listing agent.
      • Select if you would like to screen feedback within your account before the feedback is sent to your seller.
      • Show additional market showing statistics in your statistical report for this listing.
      • Email feedback statistical reports to your Seller on a daily, weekly, or monthly schedule.
  2. Press Next to continue the next step.
  3. View/Edit Listing Details: Enter the listing information. All required fields are marked with a red asterisk (*) in Showing Suite.

  4. Press Next to continue the next step.
     
  5. View/Edit Listing Photos: Upload up to 8 property photos. Only one image can be uploaded at a time. Complete these steps for each photo that you wish to upload:

Click the Choose File button. Locate the file you want to upload in the dialog box (the file must be on your computer hard drive).Click the image of your choice and click Open in the dialog box.

  1. Repeat the steps above for each photo you wish to upload for the listing.
    1. Press Upload on the right once you have browsed to all of the photos you wish to upload for the listing.
  2. Press Next to continue the next step.



  1. View/Edit Listing Documents: Upload documents that may be relevant to the listing (agreements, disclosures, etc). You can select whether or not the document is visible to the seller in their own private account.
  2. To upload a document:
    1. Enter a name for the document.
    2. Click the Browse...button.
    3. Locate the file you wish to upload (PDF or Doc files only).
    4. Click the file of choice and press Open in th dialog box.
    5. Press Upload.
  3. Press Next to continue the next step.

 

  1. View/Edit Listing Notes: Add comments you wish to be visible in your seller account and select to email the new comment to your seller if desired.
  2. To add a new note:
    1. Enter the note content into the Note box.
    2. Check whether you want the note to be hidden from the seller.
    3. Check whether you want the seller to be sent a copy of the note.
    4. Press Save when done.
  3. Press Next to continue the next step.

 

  1. View/Edit Instructions & Directions: Enter instructions and direction details for the listing.Press Next to continue the next step.
  2. View/Edit Listing Tasks: Enter any listing tasks and select whether you want it to be visible to the seller and/or emailed to them when completed.
  3. To add a new task:
    1. Enter the task description into the Task field.
    2. Click inside the Due Datefield to select the date that the task is due on.
      • Note: Do not set the Completed date until the task has been done.
    3. Select how many days before the due date you want to receive email reminders from the system (optional).
    4. Check whether you want the task to be hidden from the seller.
    5. Check whether you want the seller to be emailed once the task is finished.


Press Next to view the Listing Checklist and make any changes necessary to any of the steps above
